FANUC Robotics’ ROBOGUIDE family of offline robot simulation software products is built on the Virtual Robot Controller. ROBOGUIDE allows users to simulate a robotic process in 3-D space or conduct feasibility studies for robotic applications without the physical need and expense of a prototype work cell setup. The Software is utilized to verify reach, cycle time, tool geometrry, illustrates any possible collisions early in the process, and optimizes the layout. Open FANUC RoboGuide software on your PC. Choose the robot wish to use for the simulation. Import the various machines, equipment and end of arm tool from the included library (or import your own 3D CAD models). Move the various components around in the virtual robot cell until you create your desired layout. Next, program the robot paths and motion just like a regular FANUC robot or simply use the included simulation programming to create robot motion. Now run your simulation to obtain overall cycle time, duty cycle reports, energy consumption and much more.
